About Us

TenderCare Mission and Organization

PURPOSE
The purpose of TenderCare Child Care Center is to provide a safe learning environment for children whose parents are working.

GOALS
Our first goal is to provide learning opportunities that will enable each child to reach his God-given potential. Our second goal is to create a positive self image in each child. We focus on teaching the child to respect individual differences. The child will learn to understand and respect physical, sexual, and cultural differences by having the opportunity to experience, question, and interact with diverse people.

PHILOSOPHY

Our program is concerned with the welfare of the whole child. We see a child's developmental needs as physical, intellectual emotional social, and religious. Teachers will guide the child so that he/she may gain a healthy self-concept and a positive feeling of trust about God and others. The teachers are loving, sensitive people who are committed to the needs of young children and to the conveying of God's love through their own actions.

Curriculum
Faith based.

Staff
The staff of TenderCare provides a well-balanced program in the basic areas of child development. They recognize the importance of the child's self-image as fundamental to growth as an individual. Therefore, academic goals are pursued with vigor only when emotional gains have been made. As a result, each child receives the dignity and respect they deserve.
