Welcome

Welcome to Capitol Drive Lutheran Church.

We are a group of thankful Christians who meet Christ as we receive the love of God when gathering around Word and Sacrament in Sunday worship. We also serve Christ by giving the love of God in support of one another and our neighbors in need. We live Christ as God continually forms and reforms us as the Body of Christ, a church that is inclusive, forgiving, affirming, and concerned for justice and peace.

As you explore this web site, I believe you will notice opportunities that will meet your spiritual needs for meaning and purpose. I welcome you to call or visit us to discover more about the exciting faith adventure of meeting Christ, serving Christ, and living Christ.

Lent 2010

Lenten Supper & Bible Study
We will discuss questions such as “What is prayer?” “What does Scripture say about it?” and “Why do we pray?” Reflections by a dozen teachers in the Lutheran Church will serve as springboards for our conversations.

The Lenten study "Meeting God in Prayer" continues on Sunday mornings at 9:00 in the lounge.

We will not hold a session on Wednesday, March 10 as originally scheduled.

Learn more about Lent at Capitol Drive Lutheran Church on our Lent 2010 webpage.
